Nicos Starreveld received an MSc. in mathematics from Utrecht University (the Netherlands)

in 2014 and he is currently a PhD student in the Networks project under the supervision

of Prof. Michel Mandjes and Ass. Prof. Rene Bekker (VU University).

His research interests lie mostly in queueing theory and random graph theory. He is

interested in studying queueing networks with an underlying network which is

randomly involving in time. Moreover, a major part of his research is dedicated to the

study of the occupation time in one server queueing systems. Last but not least,

hw is studying asymptotic properties of various random graph models, mainly

the canonical (exponential random graphs) and microcanonical ensembles.
